14^th Annual 5^th Memorial “EL FAMOSO” Horseshoe Tourney

This year’s funds to go towards the completion of Bob Howell’s Casita@ the Cemetery

We are only 9 days away from Registration Day and 11 days away from Game Day.

If you are considering entering this year’s event or are a returning player, then please review the schedule of events and format.

·         Sign UP=Thursday February 2^nd 4:00 p.m.  > Sign Up @ Mateja’s on the Beach.  We have sold out in the first 5 minutes so get in line early. You must be physically present and in line to receive a sign up packet. It is not fair to others physically in line to be turned away because someone is collecting multiple packets. The only exception to this is, if the volunteers that are signing you up wish to play in the tournament, then they will be given priority registration.

·         GAME DAY = Saturday February 4^th 8:30-9:30.>Check in @ David’s Place on the Beach (Behind Tito’s Large Blue Hotel) Bring your Player Identification card that your received at sign up day as it expedites the check in process. Go to the line specified on you player card. The line will be clearly marked at the Score Keeper/Officials Palapa. You must be checked in no later than 9:45 a.m. or your spot will be awarded to an alternate and you will forfeit your entry fee. 10:00 start We need you there on time so the tourney will start on time and finish on time. There are other events going on Game Day, so be courteous to your fellow players and be there on time.

·         Longest Running Event in Jaltemba Bay

·         Entry Fee =100 Pesos

·         Blind Draw ( Your partner will be picked based on High/ Low Player Handicapping)

·         Round Robin( You will play all the teams in your division)

·         A/B/C/D Divisions ( we accommodate all levels of play)

·         A/B/C/D Division  1^st/2^nd/3^rd Place Trophies

·         A/B/C/D Division DAL Trophies (The original and Infamous Dead Ass Last Trophy)

·         4 other Novelty Trophies. 1 actually will be by Public Vote

·         Raffle Prizes (if you have something to donate, then we invite you to donate it)

·         50/50 Raffle (50% to Fund Raiser  other 50% divided 3 ways for 1^st/2^nd $ 3^rd place draw)

·         Tee Shirts 100 Pesos

·         Food & Beverage available for purchase
